Why compact spinning matters

Compact spinning is a refinement of ring spinning that makes a noticeably better yarn. Here is why it matters for your product.
In conventional ring spinning, a small triangle of fibres forms just before twist is inserted; fibres at its edges escape and become hairiness. Compact spinning condenses the fibre strand with air suction before twisting, so almost every fibre is bound into the yarn.
- Less hairiness — a cleaner, more lustrous surface.
- Higher strength — more fibres carry the load.
- Better pilling resistance — fewer loose fibre ends to tangle.
- Smoother running — fewer breaks in knitting and weaving.
