About Amtex

Certifications & memberships

Independent standards and programmes that stand behind our fibre, our supply chain and the way we do business.

Trust, verified

Quality you don’t have to take on trust.

Third-party certification and active industry membership give our customers confidence in where our fibre comes from, how our goods move across borders, and how we work.

Fibre & product

Certified wool

Standards that verify the welfare, origin and quality of the wool we spin.

Certification · Animal welfare & land management

Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)

The Responsible Wool Standard, owned by the non-profit Textile Exchange, is a voluntary global standard for the welfare of sheep and the land they graze. Certified wool is tracked through every stage of the supply chain, from farm to finished yarn, so RWS claims can be made with confidence.

Certification · Wool quality

The Woolmark Company (Woolmark)

Woolmark is the global authority on wool, and the Woolmark logo is one of the most recognised textile quality marks in the world. Products that carry it are tested against strict standards for fibre content and performance.

Supply-chain security

Trusted at the border

Our participation in the Canadian and U.S. customs partnership programmes keeps shipments to customers secure and moving.

Trade security · Canada Border Services Agency

Partners in Protection (PIP)

Partners in Protection is the CBSA’s voluntary programme that enlists businesses to strengthen border and trade-chain security. Members meet security requirements that are reviewed and validated by the CBSA.

Trade security · U.S. Customs and Border Protection

CTPAT

The Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism is U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s voluntary public–private partnership for securing international supply chains. Together with PIP, under the Canada–U.S. mutual recognition arrangement, it helps our shipments cross the border securely and efficiently.
